  Seng Cu Muong Khuong Rice

Step 1: Measure the right amount of rice according to your needs.

Step 2: Rinse the rice 2-3 times with water to clean off dust and impurities. The water from rinsing Seng Cu rice will typically be a cloudy green, characteristic of rice harvested with green rice flowers mixed in with the paddy in the Northwest mountainous region.

Step 3: Add the rice and water to the pot at a ratio of 1 part rice to 1.5 parts water, then turn on the rice cooker as usual.

Step 4: During cooking, avoid opening the lid. Wait 15 minutes after the rice is cooked, then open the lid, fluff the rice, and it’s ready to enjoy.
