          This coating is different from clear nail polish as it is a lacquer specifically for metals. This formula is more similar to the clear coating that is put over the paint layers on cars formulated for use with jewelry and sensitive skin. This formula is intended to last longer without chipping as clear nail polish does. It does rub off over time but only requires a single, even coat to protect your skin and your jewelry.
