Blue Pacific Juniper is a dense low growing juniper groundcover. It has attractive blue-green foliage that spreads up to 7 feet wide. This variety is very heat tolerant along with evergreen and best if left unsheared. When planting this Juniper, dig the hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil in with your native soil, then leave the top of the root ball 1/2 inch above the ground level when filling the hole with soil. Use a slow release granular fertilizer in spring.
