Dear Dolores Hydrangea is new to the Southern Living Plant Collection. It has bright green foliage with either pink or blue blooms depending on the soil pH. Dear Dolores is a rebloomer and will bloom from spring to fall. When planting this Hydrangea, dig the hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil in with your native soil, then leave the top of the root ball 1/2 inch above the ground level when filling the hole with soil. Use a slow release granular fertilizer in spring. This plant will ship dormant in winter and is not guaranteed to be in bloom on arrival.
